PM Modi to Release 19th Installment of PM-KISAN Yojana Today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana today, February 24, 2025, during an event in Bhagalpur, Bihar. This installment will provide over ₹22,000 crore in financial assistance to 9.8 crore farmers, including 2.41 crore female farmers, through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), ensuring transparency and eliminating middlemen
About PM-KISAN Yojana
The PM-KISAN scheme provides ₹6,000 annually to eligible small and marginal farmers, distributed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each. These funds are directly transferred to beneficiaries’ bank accounts to support their agricultural needs.
Important Requirements for Farmers
- eKYC is mandatory to receive the installment. Farmers can complete this through the official PM-KISAN portal or visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) for biometric authentication.
- Farmers can check their beneficiary status and payment details on the PM-KISAN website using their registration number or mobile number.
