Maruti Suzuki eVitara Electric SUV Launching in India on September 3, 2025
Maruti Suzuki eVitara – Maruti On September 3, Suzuki is about to debut its next SUV—which, contrary to common belief, is not the e Vitara.
The top carmaker in India is getting ready to introduce a new 5seater SUV on the market. It will be solely an ICE offering and will be available with gasoline engines.
Maruti Chairman RC Bhargava revealed during the Q4 FY25 results press conference that the company plans to introduce two new SUVs in India in FY26, one of which would be the e Vitara, which will be debuted later this year.
The e Vitara will taken on the likes of the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv.ev, MG Windsor, MG ZS EV and Mahindra BE 6.
The e Vitara measures 4,275mm in length, with a wheelbase of 2,700mm, a height of 1,640mm, and a width of 1,800mm.

design: The Evitara has a contemporary, futuristic look thanks to its 18-inch alloy wheels, piano-black highlights, y-shaped LED DRLs, and connected taillights.
The inside features premium leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, a twospoke steering wheel, a 10. 25-inch digital driver display, a 10. 1-inch touchscreen entertainment system, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, and a fixed panoramic glass roof.
Safety and Technology: The evitara will come standard with isofix mounts, an electronic parking brake, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, seven airbags, and Level2 ADAS.

Pricing and Production
To worldwide markets including japan, the uk, and some portions of europe, the evitara will be made at maruti suzuki’s gujarat plant and exported. Ex-showroom, the anticipated price range for India is Rs 17 lakh to Rs 26 lakh. In early September, Maruti is likely to start reservations just before or after the official debut.
