Kinetic DX Electric Scooter Launched In India At ₹1.11 Lakh
kinetic dx electric scooter – Launched in India at an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 1.11 lakh, the Kinetic DX electric scooter also comes in a DX+ version priced at Rs 1.17 lakh.
Though the Kinetic DX scooter has updated features and design, it also upholds some of the design choices of the earlier Kinetic model. With a symbolic sum of Rs 1000, the brand has begun accepting reservations via the Kinetic EV website. But the reservation is only for 35,000 units, and deliveries will start in September 2025.
the design of the dx draws inspiration from the original kinetic honda dx. it sports a boxy silhouette with polished metal elements, giving off a vintage vibe.
highlights include an led headlamp featuring an illuminated kinetic logo and a compact visor reminiscent of the old-school design. the dx is available in silver and black, while the dx+ gets a wider palette including red, blue, white, silver, and black.
Kinetic DX: powertrain and batteries
Powered by a 2.6 kWh battery pack manufactured by RangeX, the Kinetic DX electric scooter claims four times more life (2500 to 3500+ cycles) than other NMC battery-powered scooters in India. On the DX+, the battery is projected to offer an estimated IDC range of 116 kilometers. With three modes—Range, Power, Turbo—it is also able to sprint at a speed of up to 90 km/hr.
Kinetic DX Electric Scooter: Characteristics
The Kinetic DX EV line gets an 8.8inch instrument cluster and a proprietary mobile app; the DX+ gets sophisticated Telekinetic capabilities including real-time ride statistics and car information, Geofencing, Intruder alert, Find My Kinetic, Track My Kinetic, and more.
Both versions include a special Kinetic Assist button for immediate CRM connection over Bluetooth. Music and voice navigation via a built-in speaker among other Bluetooth enabled features. It also has cruise control built in.
