Kia Carens Clavis EV Bookings Launch – Starting July 22, 2025, Kia India will accept bookings for its electric 7 seater Carens Clavis EV.
Beginning at Rs 17.99 lakh (exshowroom), the Carens Clavis EV is the first made-in-India electric vehicle from the brand, marking a significant step on its electrification path.
Costs and Versions – Kia Carens Clavis EV
With pricing starting at ₹17.99 lakh (exshowroom), the four variations of the Carens Clavis EV are HTK Plus, HTX, HTX ER, and HTX Plus ER. Customers can book the vehicle for a token ₹25,000.
Battery Choices and Range Considerations
Kia has two battery pack choices:
- A 42 kWh unit with a certified range of 404 km
- Up to 490 km on a single charge from a bigger 51.4 kWh battery
- Up to 255 Nm of torque are produced by these versions, which have either 99 kW or 126 kW electric motors.
Fast-charging capabilities allow the battery to go from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes using a 100kW DC charger. The EV is powered by electric motors delivering 126kW and 99kW of output, with 255Nm of torque, along with four levels of regenerative braking controlled via paddle shifters.

What to Expect Next
Bookings begin on July 22 through Kia’s website and authorized showrooms. Deliveries are expected to commence shortly after, likely from August onwards. Customers will also be able to access test drives and financing options once bookings go live.
