iPhone SE 4 in 2025: A Game-Changer or Just Another Budget iPhone?
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch globally and will remain Apple’s most affordable iPhone.
The current iPhone SE 3 with 64GB storage is priced at Rupees 47,600. With Apple likely upgrading the base storage to 128GB, the iPhone SE 4 may see a slight price increase. However, the final pricing details will be revealed at launch.
The highly anticipated iPhone SE 4 has been in the works for a while. The current model, iPhone SE 3, was launched in 2022 and is heavily based on the iPhone 8.
It remains the only modern iPhone featuring older technology like Touch ID and a Lightning port. Due to the EU’s new regulations requiring USB Type-C ports, Apple can no longer sell the iPhone SE 3 and iPhone 14 in the region.
The 2025 iPhone SE could mark a significant shift, or so the optimist in me hopes. Over the weekend, sheer excitement led me to power up the iPhone SE 3—despite its now severely outdated specs—just to reconnect.
And surprisingly, it still brought a smile to my face. Why? The moment I turned it on, iOS 18.3 was ready to install. Sure, it lacks the flashy features of newer iPhones, including Apple Intelligence, but that’s beside the point.
The iPhone SE 2022 runs the same core OS as the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max, making it stand out among entry-level smartphones of its time.
